PARK & BEACH - PARTY PERMITS

At this time, all party permits require Board approval. Once you submit your Party Permit form, one of the Co-Beach Chairs will be in contact with you. Parties with more than 20 guests (or more than 10 kids) require a fee of $50.

At most, one member household may host 30 guests. To host events with over 30 guests, members must obtain an additional permit, with one host member household per permit. All co-host members must be present for the entire event being hosted.
This cost helps cover the expense of extra staff, beach supplies and maintenance. Instructions for payment will be provided when you request a party permit. Thank you for your cooperation. Read below for payment instructions.

PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE PARK & BEACH POLICIES BEFORE FOLLOWING THESE STEPS TO SUBMIT A PARTY PERMIT
  1. Use the calendar below to confirm your time is available. 
  2. Remember: No more than 3 events at one time and no more than 60 people TOTAL.
  3. We kindly ask that party permit requests be submitted at least 2 WEEKS prior to date requested. This allows adequate time for scheduling extra staff, checking the party and event calendar and ensuring communication with the party hosts. You should expect a response to your request with 1-2 business days. If you have not heard back by that time, please resend your request.
  4. Members must bring a printed copy of the permit or an email stating the permit approval to their event.
  5. Use our Party Permit form to schedule your event - include the requested date, start and end times, and number of attendees.
  6. Party Permits are available to active dues paying members 18 years of age and older.
  7. Please read and adhere to all the Park & Beach Policies.
When is a Party Permit necessary?
  • If you wish to host a party or event in the park with more than 20 guests (or more than 10 kids) a Party Permit is required.
Who can request a Party Permit?
  • Only dues paying residents are eligible to reserve the beach and hold events there. If you are a resident and have not paid your dues, please follow these instructions to update your membership and enjoy beach privileges.
How do I pay and submit my fee?
  • Please mail your check payable to Windermere Corporation with a note of the date of your event to PO Box 51029, Seattle, WA 98115. Payment must be received three (3) days prior to your event.
