Windermere Tennis Court Rules
- Windermere residents are allowed one reservation/day/resident.
- Residents are allowed to play more than once/day if courts are open but will not be allowed to make more than one reservation/day/resident in the online system.
- Each resident is allowed to book 48 hours in advance (beginning at 6 am) up to 4 times/week. If the same resident wants to book courts on the remaining 3 days of the week they must book day of.
- Multiple residents within in the same household are allowed to book courts at the same time and/or same day. The resident that booked the court must be present for the duration of the booking.
- Minimum court time is 30 minutes.
- Max court time is 90 minutes.
- A dues paying resident must be on the court at all times whenever a court is reserved. This applies to lessons for grandchildren that the resident is not actively participating in.
- If a resident is part of a team and wants to host a practice/lesson with a coach, only one court may be booked unless more than one resident are on the team. 2 residents must be on the team and actively participating in the practice/lesson in order for both courts to be booked.
- If the beach club is offering tennis lessons to Windermere children, lesson times will be blocked off in advance and residents will not be able to book courts during those times.
- If you book a court and are unable to use your booking, please cancel the booking so that it no longer appears in the online system and others could then re-book the slot.
Windermere Tennis Court Rules
- Windermere residents who have paid their dues and their non-resident guests (when members are present) may use courts.
- Adult children living outside Windermere are considered guests.
- Adults have priority over junior members and guests after 5:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. Children do have adult privileges when playing with an adult member.
- Courts must be relinquished to other waiting members after two sets, to commence when play began, not when waiting began. When there are members waiting to play, the maximum waiting time is one hour.
- Non-marking tennis shoes must be worn at all times on the courts.
- Please remove trash from the courts, including tops from ball containers. If you brought it in, take it out!
- No skateboarding, bicycling, scootering or rollerblading is allowed on the courts.
- When done playing, please close the gate to keep pets and other animals off the courts.
Sports Practice
Would you like to use part of the field or the basketball court for a sports event or practice? While Windermere Beach Club does not offer reservations for the field or court, we try to accommodate sports events or practices for younger children. Please contact the Sports Liaison with the following details:
- Name of resident sponsoring event or practice
- Dates and times for event or practice
- Approximate number of participants
- Cell phone number for resident sponsoring practice and coaches, if applicable
Windermere Storage Cage
If you have a small non-motorized craft (kayak, canoe, paddle board, etc.) that you would like to keep in the locked boat storage area at the beach, please contact the Sports Liaison. All items should be labeled with owner's name. Please note that space is limited and there is currently a wait list.
Annual fees for use of the boat storage area are due on or before May 31 for the current year. If you do not pay, your non-motorized craft will be removed from the storage area and you will lose your space. Please be advised that Windermere Corp. is not responsible for any boat or other non-motorized craft in the boat storage area.

Buoy Usage
There are buoys on the southwest side of the dock available for short term power boat use. Use of the buoys is a privilege afforded to dues-paying members. Any boats not registered, including visitors/friends, are not allowed to use buoys. Buoys and cleats are funded by an annual fee of $100. Annual fee is due by May 1st. Boaters who are not paid by then will incur a $25 late fee.

- Spaces are for use as available, ‘saving’ a space by tying a float or fender is inconsiderate and unacceptable.
- Buoys are suitable for use by small, light craft in calm conditions.
- Tie-up is at boater’s own risk.
- Boaters should use only proper mooring lines in good condition.
- Please leave the load/unload section available exclusively for this purpose.
- Please observe the 7 knot speed limit until well beyond the "No Wake" buoy.
- Swimming is not permitted from moored boats or from the mooring side of the dock.
- Overnight boats are required to be registered in the log
